Ambassador of Thailand Explores PNG’s Natural Wonders at Port Moresby Nature Park

Port Moresby Nature Park was honored to host Her Excellency Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Thailand Ambassador, and her entourage on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025. The tour by the ambassador offered a unique opportunity to showcase the richness and beauty of Papua New Guinea’s natural heritage in the context of conservation, as well as cultural exchange.

Taking the guidance of the park Conservation Manager, Francis Gundu, and CEO, Johnpaul Houston, Her Excellency was presented with an interactive tour of the Park’s tropical rainforest habitats. Treading through the thick cover, birdsong filled the air and the sights and sounds of PNG’s specialty fauna were on display, presenting an experience that was both informative and inspiring.

Among the highlights of the visit was that the ambassador is indeed keenly interested in the Park’s conservation efforts and its mission to protect threatened species and educate the public. The tour per se was a poignant reminder of the global importance of safeguarding fragile ecosystems and collaborating towards environmental stewardship.

Nature Park extend their sincerest gratitude to Ambassador Arjaree Sriratanaban and her delegation for stopping by Port Moresby Nature Park as part of their itinerary. As it was a privilege to be able to share the park conservation dream and a source of pride for the Park to connect Thailand through nature, education, and a shared vision for an ecologically greener tomorrow.
